There is plenty of work to be done within healthcare. The primary mission is to ensure that healthcare providers have more time to practice their profession. This precious time is under pressure due to all the peripheral tasks they have to deal with. You need to know a little bit of both. But what we think is more important is your people skills. As an EHR consultant, you are the connector between technology and healthcare. That means you have to have a good understanding of how needs and interests relate to technological solutions.
The duration varies significantly. Hospitals are typically our primary clients. On average, you work with a client for anywhere between three to twelve months. It depends on the complexity of the assignment, personal development, and more.
Mainly hospitals. We are in the process of expanding our client base to other healthcare facilities. But right now, we specialise in EPD, so then our consultants are mainly found in hospitals.
Yes! We have room for fresh talent with a strong foundation. Work experience is always to your advantage, but be sure to send your CV too if you have just finished your studies and want to get to work to improve healthcare in the Netherlands.
Most of our consultants possess healthcare-related educational backgrounds. However, it is a must that you have some form of affinity with IT because ultimately, you will need to find technology-driven solutions.
You work multidisciplinary with different departments. You have to be able to do that and that is what makes your work so varied. In your free role, hospital politics do not bother you much. What you do have to deal with are conflicting interests. If you do your job well, you even resolve a lot of internal sensitivities and conflicts.
