Dani enjoys engaging with healthcare professionals
Dani has always had a great affinity with healthcare. During her master 'Nutrition and Health', in addition to learning all about nutrition, she also learned a lot about current developments and (associated) challenges in healthcare. This caught her attention and she knew: this is where I want to grow.
The vital link between healthcare and ICT
During her final internship, Dani first came into practical contact with the use of ICT in the healthcare sector; she was involved in setting up an app for a digital intervention to encourage healthier lifestyles in certain population groups. At Visiar Healthcare, she wants to dive a step further into the world of technology and healthcare processes, but in the meantime she also retains direct contact with people, something she enjoys continuing to do. 'I find that I enjoy taking an advisory role and guiding healthcare providers in the EHR. At the same time, it is also important to listen carefully to them. Ultimately, they are the ones who are going to use the SPD the most in practice.'
One goal in mind
Working in a team is something Dani is only too happy to do. 'At Visiar HealthCare, everyone has the same goal in mind: optimising healthcare systems. That's really nice working together; you notice that everyone wants to make steps for the company. And if you have any doubts about something, you can go straight to everyone.'
Creativity is encouraged
New ideas are always welcome at Visiar HealthCare and could be anything. Time is therefore set aside to share these ideas with each other. 'It is nice that the company gives room for this, we all learn from each other and I am convinced that this can lead to very nice results. We usually do this on Fridays, when everyone is often in the office and afterwards we finish the week with a drink.'
