Arijan gives his employees every confidence
As an entrepreneur, Arijan is socially engaged and makes it work. For instance, he saw that technology in the healthcare sector is not being used to its full potential. He immersed himself in the processes of hospitals in particular and started Visiar HealthCare. 'I noticed that healthcare professionals could get more out of ICT, giving them more space for the patient. Our team at Visiar HealthCare gives healthcare professionals more confidence in technology. Contributing to better care in the Netherlands, that's what we do it all for.'
Space to grow
Arijan is busy growing the company every day. But what he loves most is how his own people are constantly developing. 'I started Visiar HealthCare to do something good for healthcare. To run and grow a company well, an entrepreneur is always concerned with the commercial side. But for me, the number one thing is the people of Visiar HealthCare. They are our company. Therefore, I do everything I can to make them grow into the best version of themselves.'
Trust in the basics
If you work with Arijan, you can count on all the support. 'I think it's important to give everyone confidence. That also means I have to let go sometimes, something I'm getting better at. You can really let your guard down here, but that only makes you better. Failure is the basis of success, so here you are given responsibility to do something yourself. Of course, Joeri and I watch your back and help you if necessary. We find that our people feel safe and therefore grow in a positive atmosphere.'
Help each other
'I am incredibly proud of the team we have put together in a short time. And we still have a long way to go. Visiar HealthCare is growing fast and we are looking for many more enthusiastic, motivated people who have the same mentality at the core. That's not to say that everyone here looks alike; on the contrary, we want a team that is as diverse as possible. Most importantly, we help each other. In that sense, we have the same blood group as healthcare workers: everything is about caring for others. The mutual atmosphere at Visiar HealthCare is great. Hard work and fun go hand in hand here.
